Wow, our first Parent/Teacher Conference Night! Woohoo! I cannot wait to see and visit with you this evening from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Come on out.

We do not have any homework this evening due to the events of this week and today being a half-day. The fifth grade students are cheering.

Next week, we will begin a new story to read, Eye of the Storm by Stephen Kramer. Today, we predicted using the facts from the cover page to predict what they story is about. We will be working on strategies to understand what we read as well as build upon our fluency and learn new vocabulary.

In math, we wrapped up the unit about Adding and Subtracting Whole Numbers and Decimals. Next week we will begin Unit 3 in the enVision Math about Multiplying Whole Numbers. We will have homework next week in math.
